Context
The Port of Montreal is a key player in the Quebec and Canadian economy. However, its daily operations bring with them a fair share of traffic and activity in certain markets and suburbs of Greater Montreal. Eager to increase awareness and, at the same time, share its positive impact on the daily lives of Montrealers, the organization sought to connect with Montrealers and become more visible during large summer festivals.
Concept
Easily movable container showcasing, in a playful manner for both young and old, the various activities related to the Port of Montreal and their associated professions.
Deliverables
Conceptualization of the activation, turnkey manufacturing of the experiential container including the playful gaming area, snack/bulk vending machines, and the museum interpretation section. Through 27 outings in the summer of 2023, nearly 4,000 individuals were engaged by the Port of Montreal activation, with approximately 2,500 apprentice crane operators participating in the associated games and contests.
